Have we lost
the ability to think that hard work pays off?
We live in a
world of instant gratification and everyone expects to be able to get what they
want without working for it. I don't understand this philosophy. When did
working hard for something become old school? In order to be the best athlete,
business person, doctor, or overall awesome human being, you must work your ass
off!
Many people will
say that working smart is a better way, which it can be, but you can't just
work smart without working hard, to get what you want.
If you think
Warren Buffett, Steve Jobs, Einstein, Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, and Greg
Lemond got to where they are by just working smart, you are mistaken. They are
some of the hardest working individuals to ever walk the planet. To be the best
and to reach your goals, the number one thing is working your ass off!
